Real Heroes

On Veteran's Day, our AmeriCorps Vista team had the privilege of helping the Olympic Peninsula Red Cross present its Real Heroes Awards. Ordinary people from around the Peninsula were honored for extraordinary acts of heroism as the community gathered to hear of their exploits in saving lives and saving communities. The team had a wonderful time and a great deal of satisfaction for helping out.
