Last week the North Olympic Youth Corps (NOYC) started the final phase of the Clallam County Winter Clothing drive. We met in the rec-room at the AmeriCorps house with several community members to sort and inventory donations. We spent several hours (music blasting) organizing community donations including: coats, hats, gloves, snow pants, and baby clothes. It was amazing how many donations there were! Despite the touch economy the Port Angeles community came together to help their neighbors in need. A big thank you to the NOYC members for all their hard work and everyone who donated!
